I’m Rafael Posborm, an interior designer based in Rosamond, California. My journey into design began with a passion for shaping environments that influence how we live, feel, and connect.

With a background in architectural drafting and years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial interiors, I founded RaPos Design to create spaces that not only look beautiful—but feel right. My design approach blends clean lines, tactile materials, and personal storytelling, always guided by a sense of flow and purpose.

Whether I’m reimagining a compact studio or designing a multi-room home, my goal is always the same: to bring your story to life through space.

The Studio Story

RaPos Design was born out of a belief that good design should be both intentional and accessible. What began as a solo practice redesigning homes for friends and local clients has grown into a collaborative studio that serves the greater Rosamond and Southern California area.

Each project is a close partnership—with you at the center. From moodboards to final styling, we ensure your space reflects your values, habits, and aspirations.

While I lead all design work personally, RaPos Design collaborates with a trusted network of artisans, builders, and sourcing specialists across Southern California. From custom millwork to curated furniture finds, we work only with partners who share our high standards and passion for craft.

1. Olivia Maren

Project Manager

Olivia keeps our projects on track and our clients in the loop. With a background in interior architecture and over 8 years of experience coordinating residential renovations, she bridges the gap between design vision and execution. Olivia manages timelines, contractor communication, and client updates—so Rafael can stay focused on the creative process.
 Strengths: Communication, problem-solving, deadline wrangling

2. Dario Kemp

3D Visualization & Technical Drafting

Dario transforms our concepts into immersive 3D models and precise technical drawings. Whether it’s a custom kitchen layout or a whole-home rendering, his visuals help clients understand the design before a single nail is driven. Dario holds a degree in interior drafting and has worked on projects from boutique hotels to minimalist apartments.
 Strengths: 3D modeling, CAD drafting, architectural precision.

3. Simone Lane

Styling & Sourcing Specialist

Simone has a talent for finding the perfect piece. She’s the eye behind the final layer—curating furniture, lighting, art, and textiles that elevate each design. With a background in fashion merchandising and interior retail, Simone also leads our vendor relationships and maintains our materials library.
 Strengths: Styling, product sourcing, color and texture pairing.

4. Marcus Nguyen

Client Experience Coordinator

Marcus is the warm voice behind every first email, call, and consultation setup. He ensures a smooth and friendly experience from first contact to project close. With a background in boutique hospitality, Marcus handles scheduling, onboarding, and client care with empathy and precision.
 Strengths: Client service, organization, onboarding clarity.
